Our tours have been carefully planned to maximize the nature experience.
In addition to canoeing, it is also necessary to occasionally move over land. For this purpose you will receive a canoe cart as part of the standard equipment. The number of land movements and the nature of the movement determines the level of difficulty.
If you rent a canoe, the rental package includes a canoe, paddles, life jacket, canoe cart, folding spade, and a garbage bag. You must provide your own tent and such. As well as food for the road. It is possible to rent camping equipment from us and to purchase a food package from us.
You will also receive clear directions on a map and in text. It is virtually impossible to go wrong.
Canoeing is an activity that requires moderate physical effort. An average level of fitness and good health is required to enjoy the tour to the fullest. Of course, participants must be able to swim!
You can start every day. The bus that takes you to the starting point departs from our site at 9:00 am. Before departure there is an instruction that you are required to attend. During the instruction, paddling technique is practiced, and Swedish right of public acces, safety and care for nature are discussed. The route is also discussed.
Day Tours
It is also possible to do a 1 day tour. You can choose from 2 day tours. You will be taken to the starting point at 10 a.m. and then have until 4 p.m. to do the tour. These tours are easy to do.
We use luxurious 2-person touring kayaks for our day tours. These are completely open and have 2 luxurious seats with backrests. There is also a small child seat in the middle.
Cost for a day tour is 260 SEK per kayak. A child in the child seat costs 40 SEK.
